The First Aid Response training course provides appropriate training to individuals and groups who require a first aid skill set including cardiac first response. PHECC has designed the First Aid Response (FAR) Standard to offer appropriate training to individuals and groups who require a first aid skill set including cardiac first response. This standard is designed to meet first aid and basic life support (BLS) requirements that a person known as “First Aid Responder” may encounter.

Food Safety (HACCP) level 1 & 2 Our Food Safety (HACCP) level 1& 2 course is designed to introduce participants to Food Safety and Hygiene issues and is based on the HACCP criteria set down by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland’s Guide to Food Safety Training at Level 1 & 2. On completion of this Food Safety training course, participants will be able to understand their requirements under Irish Food Safety legislation as well as following best work practices.

The aim of this training programme is to increase knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse. To ensure that those working with vulnerable adults have a sound knowledge of, and remain compliant with, the HSE Policy: ‘Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse 2014’
